Legends of Speed Video Production
This massive corporate event was the brainchild of long-time motorsport supporter Peter Johnston.
Held at Auckland’s Spark Arena, this sold-out black-tie dinner brought the motorsport industry together for one night to celebrate the Kiwi Legends of the Sport and to help raise money to bring the World Rally Championship back to New Zealand.
Volt Media played an integral role in planning and organising the night’s entertainment. We provided insert videos, created a stand-alone one-hour highlight package, and managed the evening’s big screen coverage.
The event featured a who’s who of motorsport stars appearing on stage, including Scott Dixon, Brendon Hartley, Formula 1 great Howden Ganley, Shane van Gisbergen, Greg Murphy, and Scott McLaughlin. These stars participated in interviews and candid round table conversations.
Standout elements of the coverage included video inserts that told the history of New Zealand motorsport.
These videos used a mixture of emotive voiceover, dramatic music and effects, and archive footage to captivate the audience.
