HOW MUCH DOES A VIDEO COST?
At Volt Media we work on a wide range of budgets and pride ourselves on always delivering high quality work within that budget. Our budgets range anything from $2000 - $10,000 but extend beyond that depending on the project. We are also happy to talk about multiple videos for different purposes from one shoot to maximise time spent.
If you have a fixed price in mind, talk to us and we can discuss what we can deliver for that amount. We create a budget specific to every project with line by line itemisation, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A VIDEO?
That all depends on the scale of the project. Working with you we would finalize a concept, arrange a shoot day or days, then take the footage back to the edit suite. There is always the all important approvals process where you get to see your work in progress and make changes.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide high quality work on fast turnaround so we can produce a video in as a little as a day or two if required or over months on longer drawn out projects. The sooner we know the time scale on your project the quicker we can optimise the delivery.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
First steps are concept and budget. From there we will either use our existing in house crew and or hire extra expert crew if needed. We will then shoot your footage, on location or in your offices, bring it back to our edit suite and tell your story. This includes music, possible voice over, script writing and graphics. There is a feedback process where you get to view your video and provide comments, changes and fact checks. Once the video is signed off we can upload to a file or video sharing platform for you use.
WHAT EQUIPMENT AND CREW DO YOU HAVE?
We have four edit suits, access to a professional sound suite and HD and 4K cameras, a drone, a sound kit and lighting kit. A state of the art Live Stream kit and Go Pros.
We also regularly add additional equipment we might need on any given project.
Volt Media has four full time staff. Two producer/directors, an in-house editor and camera operator and a production manager who organisers crews and manages budgets. We also employee freelances to round out any shoot.
